Regulator For Gas Logs 100lb

Cupid Cake Trio

This recipe I found in a beautiful book, a novel "The club secret recipe" a short story correspondence between two girls alternating so many delicious recipes. I recommend it as
sweet to do on Valentine's Day or simply as pie to warm the cold evenings.

Ingredients for 8 people:
For the cake

  • 40 g unsweetened cocoa
  • 150 ml of boiling water
  • 2 egg yolks 1 whole egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 180 g flour 220 g
  • sugar 2 teaspoons baking
  • teaspoon salt
  • 110 g butter, melted
For the frosting

  • 210 g of chocolate Dark
  • 200 ml cream

Preheat oven to 180 degrees In a medium bowl, whisk cocoa with hot water until mixture is smooth and homogeneous. Allow to cool. In another bowl beat the egg yolks and whole egg with 1 / 4 of the mixture of water with the cocoa and vanilla . Then combine the flour sugar baking powder and salt, melted butter and remaining cocoa mixture, and mounted with an electric mixer to mix. Add the egg mixture and blend well. Grease a baking dish and put the wax paper so will adhere well to the pan (22 cm) pour the mixture and flatten well and bake for 30-40 minutes until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Do not overcook.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes then invert on a wire rack over a baking pan with butter and let cool completely before frosting. For the frosting put the chocolate in a pan in a water bath and in another bring to a boil over low heat the cream, then pour over chocolate in a bain marie and always keep stirring. Let the glaze cool until it is lukewarm. Pour the glaze over the center of the cake leaving it running down the sides and then smooth it evenly with a spatula. Let stand for 1 hour before serving.
Good Spoonful!
